This Saturday, between 10am and 5pm, come to Ada Books to experience PVD Comics Consortium Pancakes which, as if you didn't know, is a delightful mash-up of Providence Comics Consortium and Cardboard Pancakes. The events are side by side so you'll def have time to do both. And while your plundering the local art and comics scene, you may not mind casting your eye towards Ada's bookshelves (Books make great gifts!) After the market (5:30ish), there'll be xmas cartoons and hot apple cider for all!
I don't know if next year will be any better than this one, but I do know that with a Leif Goldberg calendar dangling from the side of your fridge or pasted onto a dining room wall or pinned to your sleeve like lunch money everyday will have color and life -- even the winter months! They're now available at Ada Books (while supply lasts).

Hello everybody. This is Errol, Ada's new shop baby. He's adorable, obviously, but he needs a lot of attention. So for the month of August, Ada's hours and opening times are going to be a little weird. Because Ada is a mom and pop (now it's literal) operation, and since mom and pop have to stay home with baby, we have enlisted the help of some new volunteers (as part of a new partnership which will be officially celebrated on September 23rd): the Frequency Writers! They will be watching the shop for us throughout the month. However, because they have their own lives with their own jobs, they cannot always be there. So please bear with us! Ada will be open as much as possible, from 12 - 5pm. If it's closed during those hours? Sorry. Baby.
