Rhode Island poet (and, ahem, Poet Laureate) Tina Cane will be reading from her limited-edition book Dear Elena (beautifully printed at DWRI Letterpress) on Friday, December 2nd, at 6pm. Please join us for this free and awesome event! And. . .
And, on Saturday, December 3, be absorbed into the poetry and prose of Vanessa Jimenez Gabb and Desiree Bailey while wine, cheese, and cookies are absorbed into you. The fun begins at 6pm. Don't miss it!
Mary Cappello has a new book (Life Breaks In: A Mood Almanack), and she's going to share some of it with you this Saturday, November 12, at 6pm. Plus: Lee Ann Brown will read some poems, wine will be poured into plastic cups, cheese and crackers will tumble into gullets.
November 19th sees a book launch for Vital Little Plans: The Short Works of Jane Jacobs at Ada Books. Editors Samuel Zipp and Nathan Storring will be on hand to discuss the works and possibly read from them. There will be lots of copies for you to buy, if that's your thing, and some kind of refreshments will make their presence known. The fun will get started at 6pm. See you there!
